I do remember that basement of Isabel and Angelo's. There were always welcoming happy faces there. Lots of singing and dancing. I always say my favorite New Years Eves were spent at 484 President Street, 2 houses away from your New Years Eves RK. My mother used to let me stay up "for the bells" as she called it. I would be dancing with my brother and then years later my sister in law too. One year my mother was making the stuffing for the next day's turkey on New Years Eve and she mistakenly put in a whole blender full of whiskey sours into the stuffing. We ate it anyway the next day and it was delicious. RIP all those sweet faces I remember most at this time of the year.

Oh my goodness, Sandy and Jill. This is Joann, Connie & Blackie's daughter. I can't tell you how many songs come on XM-70's or
XM-60's where I say "oh this is an Isabel song". I remember hearing your mom's music from the backyard all summer long. I believe I got my appreciation of music from her. I never ever forget those days. I remember when Angelo used to take his vacation and he would take Sandy, Mark and me to the beach or Palisades Amusement Park and we would go for rides in the car.

For me, President Street is never far back in my mind, always right up there. I treasure those days. I spoke to Emil and Marian the other night at Aunt Mary's and I know you both are doing well. Great hearing about you and from you!
