STAY IN NJ

THE FOREST RATNER GROUP HAS MEET WITH NETS AND NEWARK OFFICALS ABOUT MOVING THE NETS TO NEWARK. WE DON'T WANT THEM IN BROOKLYN WHERE RATNER WILL PROFIT AND THE PEOPLE THAT LIVED THERE ALL OUR LIVES WILL GET NOTHING.

I can't see why there is so much uproar. A guy is putting Billions into Brooklyn in a neighborhood that needs a major revamp, and is run down. It's the same thing all the developers are doing throughout the area. Why is Ratner different? Let's face facts, no one in the neighborhood could afford those apartments for a million so where is it different? The only change besides a major sports complex is that there will be a better NBA team in NY. Go NETS!

HE IS PUTTING IN BILLIONS BECAUSE HE'S GONNA MAKE EVEN MORE BILLIONS. HE ACTS LIKE HE'S DOING US A FAVOR,FIXING UP THE AREA. HE'S ONLY HELPING HIMSELF.REAL ESTATE IN AREA WAS HIGH PRICED BEFORE THIS VULTURE CAME AROUND.LET HIM GO TO EAST NEW YORK OR BED-STUY AND PUT MONEY INTO THOSE AREAS IF HE REALLY WANTS TO HELP BROOKLYN.TYPICAL RICH DOUCHE BAG TRYING TO GET RICHER.

Your points are all valid ones. But I have to say, those other neighborhoods wouldn't get that, but they also don't have a transit mini-hub either. I see your point, I just want to see Brooklyn get even better! I think he is trying to do that. For a profit? Thats ok too in my opinion. Everyone has a right to make money. And if you were dumping $$$ into something you would want to make $$$ also. Buona Fortuna! I know your thinking he should give back to the community. Besides giving back a great complex, he is a donor to many local charities. And what about what the players give back in time and dollars?

BRO I UNDERSTAND ALL YOUR POINTS, BUT IT GETS TO THE POINT THAT NOT EVEN ME AND YOU CAN AFFORD IT.
